Providence Union - Discography (1998?-2001)

Providence Union was an incredibly overlooked emotional hardcore band from Jacksonville/Daytona Beach, Florida. On the 7" Providence Union pour their heart out into two powerful songs that are comparable to the works of Hoover, Mainspring and Indian Summer. Both tracks explode with energy and are extremely catchy. While they might be a bit derivative of some of the aforementioned bands, Providence Union still manages to live up to their legacies. The 7" could honestly be mistaken for an early Hoover 7" if you went in completely blind.

Its a crying shame that more people aren't aware of this band in general. After the 7" the band released an excellent LP called "Die Me Infinity". This LP was a step forwards, with Providence Union finding their own unique sound more along the lines of Unwound and other similar post-hardcore bands.
