Drift - Discography (1994-1998)

Drift was a hardcore band from Saint Romuald, Québec. They were an often overlooked yet integral part of the hardcore scene in Quebec in the 90s. Drift played the same kind of heavy, metallic and crusty "screamo" that One Eyed God Prophecy and Uranus popularized. They took this sound and really made it their own; instead of slowing down to emphasize the heavy and dirty nature of their songs Drift usually sped up their tracks to create a different type of intensity.

Drift is one of the only Canadian hardcore bands I have heard that merges shrieked vocals and a distinctly fastcore/powerviolence style with heavy His Hero Is Gone type crust. I highly recommend checking out this incredibly underrated band.

There is a unreleased Drift track somewhere out there that was supposed to be on an unreleased Canadian hardcore compilation.  If anyone happens to have this track please let me know!
