Chain To Thread goes from a thrashier, more fast-paced sound on their 1993 demo, to a slightly more refined post-hardcore sound on their split with Bleed in 1994. Even with their limited discography Chain To Thread displayed its versatility in sounds and styles throughout their releases.
The tracks on their demo are surprisingly well played and catchy. The band clearly really knew what they were doing and were confident in their style and sound. If they weren't already solidified enough in their demo, their tracks on the Bleed split seem to be even more clearly defined. They are overall a great and often overlooked band and I would have loved to hear more from them.
