Love Lost But Not Forgotten was a hardcore band from St. Peters, Missouri who were active in the late 90s to early 2000s featuring members of End Over End and The Paxadils. They had two vocalists over the years who both did solo vocals and did them together, and a trio of guitarists. Their discography includes two albums on CD, a split 7" with Joshua Fit For Battle and a CD ep. They were also on two compilations.
Love Lost But Not Forgotten was known for their brutal, violent shows and mind-blowingly chaotic sound. Their self-titled album from 2000 remains one of the craziest albums I've ever heard with deafening shrieked vocals, and spazzy, incredibly fast paced instrumentals backing them up. The album never wavers in intensity from start to finish, each song matching the last in energy.
The thing that really stands out to me about this band is the straight up raw emotion displayed in every song. A lot of the bands on par with their level of aggression and chaos don't have the actual emotion to back it up. You can genuinely hear the passion and all the work put into the band in every song and that's what makes it so good.
