The End Of The Century Party - Discography (1993-1999)

The End Of The Century Party was a hardcore band from Tampa, Florida that was active for 6 years throughout the 90s and had one reunion show in 2015. The band featured members of In/Humanity, Jud Jud, Awake!, Books Lie, Combatwoundedverteran and more. In their active years they released one 12", two 7"s, a split 7" with Palatka, a discography CD in 2004 and also appeared on various compilations.

The End Of The Century Party has a fast, heavy and chaotic sound that borders at times on "powerviolence" but with much more dynamic. Out of all the bands they share members with I definitely hear the similarities between their sound and In/Humanity's the most with their chaotic, experimental and noisy sound. The End Of The Century Party shifts seamlessly between more "emo" sounding half-spoken vocals and intensely fast and screamed vocals.

They definitely fit in with the Florida hardcore scene of the 90s with fellow bands Reversal Of Man and Palatka but bring something unique to their sound. Not quite as straight up heavy sounding as Reversal Of Man, as thrashy as Palatka or as noisy as In/Humanity but somewhere in the middle melding elements of hardcore, noise powerviolence and "emocore".

Note: We still need to upgrade our download to a FLAC but in the meantime, I linked the band's Bandcamp.
