Manner Farm - Discography (1995-1999)

Manner Farm was a band from Langley B.C. As one of the most underrated and least remembered bands of the B.C. scene, Manner Farm was a total knockout punk band that did an excellent job with songwriting, no matter what style they were attempting. The band started out as more of a classic political punk band, mirroring the sounds of Canadian bands like Propghandi and I Spy.

In their later years Manner Farm served the same niche that bands like Render Useless did, mixing the radical political sounds of the Canadian punk scene with the intensity and moodiness of the B.C. hardcore/screamo scene at the time.

My personal favorite release by them is their posthumous LP, a compilation release consisting of the bands last two EPs, and containing two moving and thought provoking political zines. Manner Farm would have fit right in on the Mountain Collective for Independent Artists and it's honestly strange that they weren't considering that other similar hardcore bands in the B.C. scene like Breakwater and Render Useless were.
