Month Of Birthdays - Discography (1997-2002)

Month Of Birthdays was an emocore band from Leeds, Yorkshire, UK. It's hard to classify a band that paves their own way and Month Of Birthdays is no exception. Their sound meanders from heavier Julia-esque post-hardcore experimentation to soft and sweet points that could be compared to bands like Everyone Asked About You. Cath O'Connors vocals are definitely a strong point in this bands discography, complimenting the instrumentals perfectly and solidifying Month Of Birthdays as a staple on the Subjugation roster. I guess I could compare them to label-mates Spy Versus Spy or Bob Tilton but Month Of Birthdays really did their own thing.

Month of Birthdays had some really compelling, emotional tracks and excellent lyrical content. I'd love to see more people listen to this band, as they are a real diamond in the rough. Those CDs should really be on vinyl by now...
