Madeline Ferguson - Discography (2001-2005)

Madeline Ferguson was a post-hardcore/screamo band from Albany, New York who were active for a few years in the early 2000s. Members of the band are also in Struction, End Of A Year and Eight Miles High and one member runs Slave Union Records. Madeline Ferguson released an album on CD, a split with Bury Me Standing and a demo CDr and played various shows across the US before they disbanded.

Named after Laura Palmer's cousin in Twin Peaks, Madeline Ferguson had a strikingly unique sound that stands out from the stagnating screamo scene of the early 2000s. With vocals channeling a slightly sassier Reversal Of Man and almost math-rock-esque instrumentals, they made a name for themselves. Some of their instrumentals sound a lot like the "emo" hardcore of the 90s, (Griver Comes to mind), however they bring something new to the table melding some distinct qualities of the early 2000s hardcore scene.
