The band had a spastic, chaotic heaviness that dives straight through you, evident in every one of their tracks. Their tense, anxious energy is reminiscent of Gravity records bands like Angel Hair but significantly heavier. The vocalist's shrill screams rip through the pounding guitar and drum work in an amalgamation of intensity that is unforgettable. Prevail throws the ebb and flow out the door and opts for constant ear-shredding bursts of sound that make your hair stand on end still while listening.
Prevail shared the stage with countless other unforgettable bands including Reversal Of Man, Botch, Inkwell, Watership Down and more. The sheer feeling of passion and anger that emanates from each chord is something that can't be pulled off by many, but Prevail does it with such ease it's contagious.
