Cairo Capone - Discography (1996-1997)

Cairo Capone was a short-lived hardcore/punk band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They released a 7" in 1997 and a demo tape in 1996.

Cairo Capone utilized fast, chaotic instrumentals and defiant, spazzy/snotty vocals that are reminiscent of Honeywell or even Coleman a little at times. You can also hear a bit of the more technical "emo" sound thrown into the mix at times reminiscent of other Lancaster bands of the time such as Spirit Assembly or Fields Lay Fallow. Despite their small discography they are definitely a band that stands out from the crowd in the 90s hardcore scene.

Cairo Capone's 7" was released on Rosepetal Records along with releases by bands like Four Hundred Years, Karenza and Boy Sets Fire.

Ryan Suffort formed Encyclopedia Of American Traitors who had splits with Orchid and Kwisatz Haderach
