Countdown To Putsch was a anarcho-punk/ political hardcore band from Queens, New York. The band featured Chris Jensen of The Mountain CIA fame. Countdown To Putsch was known for it's expansive political literature (literal books) that accompanied their releases; and their experimental, free form and jazzy songs. They are another band you could add to the never ending list of underrated 90s screamo bands and they deserve a top spot at that, for their sheer creativity and intricate release packaging.

I have the Ebullition book/CD scanned here but I'd really like to get my hands on the other book and CD that came out before it to scan/document as well. This kind of political commentary is very important for me to archive and I highly recommend checking out the inserts/art of your favourite hardcore bands as they likely have a lot of interesting things to say that are just as important as the music they were making.
