Rusty James was an emocore band from Bremen, Germany. Unlike many of the other bands in the Bremen scene, Rusty James opted for a more melodic and indie rock based sound compared to the brutal metallic Bremencore that dominated the scene at the time. Featuring some members of Age, Assay, Systral and Azure; Rusty James was made up of capable musicians that created seriously catchy and interesting tunes. The band was featured on Love Records which is one of my favourite labels of the time, every one of their releases was amazing and the design and packaging were exemplary. If you want to start listening to this band I'd really recommend putting on "The Boxer And His Wife" of the ST 7", it's a mixtape favourite of mine and an awesome song. As always with the more obscure/international bands, let me know if you have any info, posters or live video of the band!
