Choke To Start - Discography (1995-1996)
Choke To Start was a post-hardcore band from Kitchener, Ontario. Like contemporaries Gaffer, Choke To Start had a varied sound that ranged from math rock and post rock to post-hardcore. I could compare them in some ways to bands like Rodan and Hoover. Despite only being active for a few years in the mid 90s, Choke To Start had undeniable chemistry and produced some complex and intriguing tracks. As a whole, the Ontario post-hardcore scene in the 90s was quite developed and yet, very underrated in the scope of things, I think Choke To Start might just be the most overlooked band of the bunch.
