The Candyland Carcrash was an emo hardcore band from Virginia Beach, Virginia. They shared members with Owltian Mia, Channel and Words A Game and had a similar sound. I found the 7" at an antique market in town and it just got better every-time I played it.
Theres lots of great unique ideas presented on this 7" and I love the use of the tambourine. The Candyland Carcrash was great at creating fast paced start/stop songs with lots of dissonance and urgency in the guitar work. As I said with Seraphim, its a shame this band doesn't have any more material. (If you are aware of more send it my way!)
