Evergreen - Discography (1993-1997)

Evergreen was a emo band from southern California. Evergreen was a band that took major influences from The Hated; they evolved their indie-punk sound to something that would influence countless emo bands. Evergreen laid the foundation for the emo explosion in the late 90s/early 2000s that included bands like SDR, Jimmy Eat World and The Get Up Kids.

While Evergreen had a sound that was more rooted in hardcore, they opened up new avenues by experimenting with melody, twinkling guitars and left field drumming. I strongly believe Evergreen just got better with every release and this is evident in their post-rock/emo masterpiece the "These Last Days 7".

I really don't know what else to say about this band, their reputation precedes them and i'm sure theres lots more great info and writeups about them elsewhere. Just go ahead and give them a listen yourself to see what the hype is about.
