Mine was a heavy hardcore band from Affeltrangen, Switzerland. Starting out as a heavily Rorschach inspired metalcore band; Mine progressed in sound with every subsequent release, peaking with their 1996 LP "Tetanus", released on the legendary Canadian label The Great American Steak Religion. Mine was a powerhouse that combined the heavy sounds of the German scene with classic hardcore and did an excellent job with it. The song Trustkiller off the LP never fails to give me chills with it's infectious energy and the indescribably insane pseudo-breakdown near the end. Mine is a hard band to classify but they where incredibly in-sync and heavy while also being melodic and catchy. If you love that mid-90s European heavy hardcore sound, you should really check out Mine.
