Golgatha was a heavy hardcore band from the Rhine area in Germany. I first heard Golgatha on the Ebullition - Illiterate compilation, that featured a number of excellent euro-hardcore bands. Their track on that compilation stuck out to me on the first listen, as being the best song featured, narrowly beating some of my favourite bands like Ivich and Finger Print.
Golgatha was heavily inspired by the likes of Rorschach, as it seemed many of the German hardcore bands at the time were. This resulted in Golgatha having an insanely brutal array that was a mix of sounds from both classic hardcore and metal bands like Die Kruzen and Slayer.
