Tribute was a hardcore band from Holbeach and Wisbech, UK. Tribute was hugely influential on the UK hardcore scene at the time and helped set the foundation and blueprint for future Subjugation bands. The band is easily comparable to other UK giants like Curll, Manrae and Schema. Tributes sound was heavily influenced by the stop-start sounds of bands like Hoover, Fugazi and Moss Icon while also retaining a classic rock sensibility that was present in many UK bands of the time like Fabric. They utilized spoken word and sung vocals excellently along with strained shrieks reminiscent to label mates Bob Tilton.
