Elements Of Need was a screamo/emocore band from Audubon, Pennsylvania. The band featured members of a ton of great Pennsylvania bands and Eric Wareheim of Tim & Eric fame. Related bands include The Gangplansisteele Quartet, Frail, Ink & Dagger, Goodbye Blue Monday and I Am Heaven.
Elements Of Need played an intense and frantic style of hardcore that leaves the listener with grit teeth and white knuckles. This is most evident on the songs On 7, Scale and Industry. They also had solid mix of groovy & melodic guitar riffs that get you tapping your feet without noticing. Overall a great mix of intensity and dance/groovability; 2 of the main things I personally look for in "emocore" bands.
