The Roman Invasion Suite was a emocore band from Kalamanzoo, Michigan that featured members of Broken Hearts Are Blue. In their active years released a 7" and a compilation track as well as recording a full length LP (that recently leaked online). The 7" is an incredibly sonically accomplished release; it sounds like Ordination Of Aaron matured and wrote more dark, brooding post-hardcore along the lines of bands like Hoover, I Am Heaven and Mainspring. This one was sitting at a local record store (love you sloth) for a long time and I kept skipping over it thinking it was an old jazz record. When I finally realized what it was and picked it up, it turned out to be one of my best local finds ever.
To be honest the unreleased LP has not clicked with me like the 7" but i'm sure someone else will get a kick out of it
