Equation Of State was a emo-hardcore band from Halifax, Nova Scotia. They shared members with other great Halifax bands like Led By Regret, The Plan and Useless Solution. The CD is messy, passionate and heavy; Equation Of State sounded screamy and chaotic but with a definite influence from more traditional hardcore punk. Theres also lots of weird guitar noodling that fits surprisingly well with the rest of their sound I wish the recording quality for this release was slightly better but oh well, you take what you can get with these punk records.
